Best Robot Vacuum Cleaner and Mop
Robot vacuum cleaners and mops are a great method to quickly clean up messes. The top robot vacuums and mops I test had superior mapping and navigation. They sucked up Cheerios and fake dog turds, as well as wires that were tangled.
You can also schedule cleaning tasks using an app and track their progress.
1. Roborock S8 maxV Ultra
The Roborock S8 MaxV is the most efficient robot mop and vacuum combo. It comes with the most recent features. This top-of-the-line vacuum is fast and agile and picked up human hair and pet hair almost perfectly in our Debris Pickup Test. It has a sleek app interface with a miniature map of your home as well as buttons on the screen for manual control.
Another standout characteristic of the S8 is its ability to change its cleaning mode based on dirt levels, thanks to its Dirt Detection Technology. It will wash its mopping pads more frequently when it encounters dust. Carpeted areas are given priority for mopping using a damp mopping pad.
The mop roller has many other smart features, including docks that connects to your home's plumbing system to clean and wash it without you having to manually refill the mop. With the built-in voice assistant of the S8 you can make use of voice commands to control the cleaning mode of your room and provide precise control with just your voice.
2. Yeedi Cube
The Yeedi Cube offers a variety of options for those seeking a hands-free robot vacuum with mopping capabilities. It's part of a plethora of robot vacuums with combo features with mops, however it's priced at a lower cost than many of the competitors.
Like all robovacs, the Yeedi Cube requires a little bit of work to get started, including setting up an account on the manufacturer's app and connecting it to your WiFi network. After that, however the robot is able to begin mopping and vacuuming with ease.
It's important to keep in mind that the mapping process may take a while, and the Yeedi Cube may need a couple of attempts before it can get an accurate image of your space. Additionally, object detection can be difficult to determine and it was able to skim over furniture and other obstacles, but was stuck on a loose tassel rug and had to turn it over to get free. These are minor issues and the Yeedi Cube remains a great option for those looking for an appliance that can do everything.
3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
The Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete delivers a three-in-one home cleaning solution. Its innovative mopping system uses an alternating motion that's similar to hand scrubbing. robotvacuummops.uk means that floors are cleaned, not just swept. The detachable vacuum stick is an absolute game changer that can reach places even a robot vacuum cannot.
This model is essentially the same as the popular X2 Omni, but with a slightly higher suction power of 8700Pa and some additional clever features. The upgraded RGBD sensor can learn your home's surroundings better and provide dynamic obstacles avoidance. And the smart app lets you customize the settings of your choice such as scheduling, AI cleanings, and setting virtual boundaries.
The X2 Combo is also self-prepping by having both the robot vacuum and mop returning to their charging base after each job to wash their pads, empty their dust bins, and place debris into the self-sealing bags. This helps keep the system clean, and prevents allergens recirculating. Its battery life is sufficient to remove large areas without the need for a charge mid-clean.
4. Eufy S1 Pro
The Eufy S1 Pro is a high-end robot vacuum and mop model that has impressive features for an affordable price. It features an impressive 8,000 Pa suction, a rotating floor brush for carpets, and a great obstacle-avoiding. It also boasts a unique mopping system, which uses a roller continuously doused with water to pull dirt and then deposit it in the water that is dirty tank.
Its navigation technology was effective in navigating close to walls without falling and avoiding stairs. It was unable to handle fine particles and didn't always clear the raised thresholds in rooms. The operating level of the sound is also high, so this model might not be as easy to set and forget as other models.
Like many robotic vacuums and mop cleaners, the S1 Pro comes with a docking station that can replenish its clean water, empty its dustbin and mop pad, as well as wash and dry its mop. This makes maintenance easy and allows the S1 Pro spend more time cleaning floors according to an established schedule. You can control all of its functions using the Eufy app, which gives an overview of the system and plenty of options for configuration.
5. Freo X Ultra
The Freo X Ultra is one of the best robot vacuums/mowers available, and it provides impressive mixed vacuuming and mopping performance. Its LIDAR mapping sensor can detect furniture legs and other obstacles with decent accuracy, and the application lets users fine-tune the coverage of the map, define zones that are not allowed to enter, and set cleaning preferences. The Freo's roller brush was specifically designed to prevent hair from wrapping around it. This can be an issue for many robotic vacuums.
The Mop Mode is impressive too and comes with Reuleaux triangular mop heads that spin at 180 RPM and apply up to 12N of downward pressure. The mopping system incorporates intelligent carpet detectors, which raise the pads when they're near soft surfaces to keep them from getting contaminated.
The docking station is an unmanned maintenance center that automatically washes and dries the mops, then refills them with detergent and distillate water. The base station comes with an integrated dust processing system that compacts dust, which allows for seven weeks of maintenance-free operation.
6. S10

A few hundred dollars less than the S8 This robot does an excellent job of keeping my home office clean and can also take on the corners of my tight apartment. It uses laser mapping and a camera to build an outline of your home, so it knows where to stay away from. It has an object/obstacle detector that can avoid things like dog bowls and toys (but not Poop), unlike many vacuums.
Other amazing features include a self emptying dustbin, a mop that is self-washing and adjustable for water temperature, and a side-reaching brush that can reach areas that other mops miss. You can also adjust the settings for each room, and set up cleaning schedules.
It features the same multi-room smart mapping as the S8 and can differentiate between laminate and carpets, with high-pile rugs. It can also avoid mopping rooms that are not filthy if you're trying to save time. It's a great choice if you have a mix of flooring in your home and aren't looking to spend the money to buy a Roborock with advanced mapping features.
7. Q5 Pro
This robot is a great option if you are looking for a robot that can handle regular maintenance and touch-ups to messy water stains. It comes with a wide range of features that include a self-emptying dustbin, a separate dock for refilling water, and adjustable settings through the app. It's extremely quiet and can easily maneuver around furniture legs or socks. However, it can't pick up knotted rug tassels, and its battery drains slightly faster than other models in our tests.
With a price tag of less than $250, the Q5 Pro is a bargain-friendly machine that packs a lot of suction and a handy automation into a slick design. It didn't perform as well as the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra in our tests of vacuuming however, it performed well. It also includes a wide range of cleaning modes to meet your needs, from the low-power 'Quiet' mode for lightweight debris to the more robust 'Turbo' mode that is ideal for carpeted rooms. It even has the ability to remove and reconnect its mop pads, without getting your carpets wet.
8. K10 Plus
The K10 Plus is an excellent robot vacuum and mop that can be used even in small spaces. It's extremely quick and quiet and can maneuver tight spaces efficiently. It also does a very nice job of getting pet hair off carpeting.
It's smaller than many of its competition however it doesn't compromise features. It has good suction power and can be set to take photos of each object it chooses (i.e. chew toys, socks) and mark them in the app as "not located', so that they won't be removed in future cleanings. The photos are encrypted and not tied to you account.
It does a fantastic job of vaccuming but isn't as good at mopping. It uses disposable wet wipes that you clip onto the bottom of the bot and it basically drags them around your floor. Compare this to the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra or Narwhal with reservoirs of water, and can automatically wash and attach their mophead.
